Licensed Customized Therapeutic Massage Therapy
Description: 1-2 areas of focused and detailed work...after warming the muscles up, medium to deep pressure (going as deep as the muscle tissue will allow)...tailored to your individual needs to reduce and manage pain, improve joint movements and range of motion, increase muscle function and flexibility, decrease stiffness and soreness, and strengthen overall performance for optimal functioning... to work out knots and adhesions, to decrease restrictions, to lengthen and straighten out muscle fibers to maximize mobility. Techniques may include therapeutic massage therapy, active and passive stretching, neuromuscular precision, trigger point, sports massage, deep tissue, orthopedic medical, using knuckles and elbows as needed, strain/counterstrain/positional release, muscle energy techniques, muscle activation techniques, hot or cold or water therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, kinesio-taping, foam or other rolling, tool use, vibration or EMS/TENS machines to target specific muscles, magnesium foam or spray, CBD or other therapeutic herbal tinctures or balms, etc.

Financial and Administrative Transparency: This website is affiliated with AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association). Scheduling of all appointments is done online by you through my MassageBook online administrative software on my online MassageBook booking site. Prepayment through debit/credit card processing through Square is used for card processing for your convenience and is required to reserve your appointment. There are transaction and usage fees through both Square and MassageBook, usually around $5 combined each time, and Jennifer will currently absorb ALL of these transaction and usage fees for you. Square and MassageBook are all secure and encrypted for your financial safety, protection, and privacy. Square and MassageBook are paperless systems. All receipts are emailed to your email address. Debit/credit cards are not kept on file by Jennifer through Square or MassageBook for your financial safety, protection, and privacy. All fees are clearly listed on this website, the online MassageBook booking site, and on any square processing transactions.
Expectations: You will be properly draped or covered at all times. Any sexual gestures, comments, or innuendo will not be tolerated. This is a respectful and reputable healthcare practice. Jennifer is not a masseuse at a corner parlor. She is a professionally State of Missouri Licensed Massage Therapist, has a KCMO city business license, and has a State of MO business license.
Cancellation Policy: * Late cancellations < 24 hrs. and no-shows: the full fee will be charged for any pre-reserved missed appointments not cancelled at least 24 hrs. in advance.
